Hangover burger was different but good! Wife had pulled pork with a side salad. She thought the salad was a little stale... over all good clean place to eat..great views out the picture windows..

Wow! Absolutely phenomenal local IPA, I had the pulled pork sandwich with their homemade BBQ sauce I could have asked for a better meal I wish I could take this restaurant home! We were on the road cross country and luckily stopped here. It's a MUST to stop by here and enjoy a beer and a pulled pork sandwich. The service was also great very friendly and talkative :)

Excellent service and food. My husband and I both got the brisket salad and it was wonderful. They make everything from scratch including all of their dressings and croutons. This place is a little gem in the middle of nowhere. Would eat here again in a heartbeat!

Came upon this place by accident and it was the best accident ever. The staff was really nice. I had a cheeseburger and it was delicious! The first time I have ever been able to eat the patty by itself. They make their own sauces and they are all awesome. Definitely recommend it.

Our first stop on our long road trip from Vegas to Tampa. We had 2 little ones with us, and it was kid friendly! Enjoyed a late lunch with the *hangover burger, a brisket salad, and the kids shared a Mac and cheese, applesauce and garlic fries. Pretty tasty but nothing extraordinary. For the cute little town it was in, we enjoyed the scenery and the easy access to and from the highway. Another reviewer said they couldn't see if the restaurant had a smoker, but we could clearly see they had one and it was going strong. Saw the staff maintaining it and we could Smell it as soon as we got out of the car. Very friendly staff and an overall nice first stop. My 7 year old said, "Mom, I like that we get to stop at all different kinds of places when we are on road trips and don't go to McDonalds..."

Great food in an unexpected desolate location. Very good quality food. Booths are not comfortable. But nice atmosphere and very good food for a good price. Try it you'll appreciate this place in nowheresville.

Good food reasonable price. Has been open one week. We had brisket sandwich with fries for under $20. Will probably be back and definitely recommend.

Love this place! The customer service and attention is second to none and the food is absolutely delicious!! All the meats are smoked in the house! Homemade BBQ sauces, bake beans and desserts are tasty, oh, and the weekly specials are yummy and creative. The bar is fun and the patio is great, especially for those beautiful summer afternoons. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Give it a shot! You'll love it!

We live about 25 miles from Ash Fork and have talked about trying this place for a while. We went on a Wednesday evening at about 5:30 PM. The place was pretty empty, we were greeted quickly and seated. The staff was very friendly. We sat in the booth that was extremely uncomfortable for some reason but the view out the large windows wall-to-wall to the north was beautiful. We ordered stuffed jalapeño poppers as an appetizer and while they were okay they definitely could have been better. Not sure why but the bacon wrapped around them was virtually tasteless. I ordered the half rack of ribs and my husband ordered the brisket. While nothing was horrible nothing was overly good either. The meal came with the entrée, soup or salad, choice of loaded potato (twice baked), French fries, sweet potato and also a choice from coleslaw, potato salad, beans or corn on the cob. It also came with a cornbread muffin with butter. The choices were excellent but to me all of the food tasted pre-packaged or frozen maybe. The sauce was pretty good, but like I told my husband the smoky flavor almost tasted like liquid smoke. I tried to look around atwhere they were smoking the meat and I couldn't seem to find any place where that was being done, on site anyway.I will say the amount of smoky flavor was about perfect it just didn't have the right taste to me at least. I always question myself going out for barbecue because I personally am not a big fan of extremely smoky flavor but I don't usually hold that against a restaurant Most of the problems were little things but there was a lot of them the bread was cold the bacon had no flavor even in the loaded potato as well, the butter for some reason had no flavor in the corn had no taste at all. Almost everything was pretty much lukewarm. I probably would have only given one star but I do think this place has potential to be good., and the service was pretty good and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere is the restaurant itself was pretty good as well.

We stopped in on our drive from GA to CA. I love the decor and windows in the place. Very cute! The staff was great! I had the brisket and it was unreal. Best I've ever had. It's so tender!! Wish we would have had the time for dessert :)

Service was great but food below average. Onion rings were great, but baked potato was black (rotten), corn soggy, and ribs over-cooked. I did really like the flavor of the BBQ sauce though. I wouldn't eat here again. If there's a next time, I'll try the diner across the street.

Nice place right off of I40. The staff is very friendly and the food was also good. Girlfriend loved the pulled pork sandwich. They use a pretzel bun which is delicious. The bbq sampler with deep fried mac n cheese was pretty darn good too. They have a sweet and hot bbq sauce for the wings which was excellent. All in all a great place to try while traveling.

We came here since we stopped by the nearby gas station for gas on our way back to Las Vegas from Grand Canyon. This restaurant is fairly new; inside is clean as well as the bathrooms. Came here on a Thursday at 1 pm; we were immediately seated. This restaurant has a small outdoor seating area and big windows to allow lots of natural light. Husband got the hangover burger which included bacon, 2 onion rings, and a fried egg on a ciabatta bun. He liked his sandwich. I got the brisket sandwich which included 2 onion rings on a pretzel bun. I asked for the included honey mustard on the side. I liked my sandwich but being a bbq joint, I would think including bbq sauce on the sandwich instead of mustard would taste better. Would gladly come here again!

After a long cross country road trip stopping at various BBQ restaurants in numerous states (Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas to name a few), I decided to try Lulu Belle's BBQ on my way back to the Pacific Northwest. I had never had BBQ in Arizona, so finding this spot allowed me the opportunity to explore the style of another unique part of the country. I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the warm, personable service! The owner graciously answered any question that I posed towards her regarding the food, business and even the type of wood they used to smoke the meat. I liked that the smoker with in view of the bar dining area because you can see the labor of love that goes into the preparation of the meats and smell the faint aroma of hickory and apple wood! The ribs were tender and not overwhelmingly smoked, allowing you to taste the full flavor of the meat and spices. The homemade BBQ sauce also complimented the ribs and didn't overpower the delicate flavor of the meat. I almost forgot to mention the local IPA in the mason jar was very refreshing! Take it from an ACF Certified Chef and BBQ competitor, Lulu Belle's is true BBQ! Check it out because good BBQ really does exist in the Southwest!

We were on our way back from Prescott,AZ and we were looking for a good place to eat. We decided to check Ash Fork out before getting on the freeway. Lulu Belle's was right there. We took s quick left into their parking lot and oh we are so glad we did. I had the pulled pork sandwich with salad and fries. It was the best pulled pork sandwich I've had in a long time. My husband had the beef ribs with the sides. He loved them. Christi was our waitress. She did a great job. We felt very welcomed. I would highly recommend Lulu Belle's to anyone on their way to or returning from the Grand Canyon. We will definitely be returning. Great great food.

The food here will make me drive from Las Vegas to get great BBQ! Christy (I hope that's how you spell it) is super nice and accommodating. I told a friend of mine how good this place is and she had to eat here because she didn't believe me. After eating here she said she would drive down from Vegas also just to eat here. Trust me if your anywhere in the Northern AZ area, make this your one stop culinary delight. Price is not expensive, drinks were great atmosphere was very family friendly. I will be coming back to this restaurant every time we're near!

Great food in a much needed area. Portions are large and the place is new and clean. Ashfork really needed a place like this and I wish them the best of luck and will be a return customer for sure.

Came here on Valentines Day with my wife. We were assigned server "Sarah", who was an absolute joy to have as a server. The owner (Linda? Absolutely charming!) even stopped by to check on us, make sure our drinks were full and talk a little about the town - since we asked. The atmosphere is great, and we really enjoyed the large open room. The bar room was immaculate, and looked inviting, although we never did stop in for a drink. We both had the ribs, and our server had her own favorites - and we ask for recommendations when we eat out to gauge how well the staff knows the menu. Sarah was on it, and the ribs were fantastic. I also recommend the loaded potato and the cornbread. I asked for my salad to be mixed with dressing in the back, and they got it right the first time, delivering a mixed salad ready as ordered. For the two of us, it was about $40., including drinks - which is amazing when you're talking about two plates of half-rack ribs. Would love to return again, and when in Ash Fork, will probably do so. Even the bathrooms were cleaned and odorless. Whoever is managing this restaurant is taking a lot of pride in every aspect of it, and that was the most noticeable thing. Great experience!

Stopped here after a Grand Canyon hike, we were immensely relieved to find such an amazing place to have lunch! Awesome craft beers on tap, super friendly service (seriously, soooo nice!), the food was good. Two words: honey butter. They serve it with the sweet potato fries or sweet potato... It is addictive. You have to order it even if you don't want sweet potatoes. So amazing!! Friends had pulled pork on a pretzel bun and said it was delicious. They said the barbecue was authentically smoked, which seems obvious given the active smoker outside. I snacked on sides and apps, all of which were good enough to make me happy. A perfect road trip stop!

Been meaning to join yelp for a few years. This was a good reason to join! Amazing brisket for phenomenal prices. My husband got the brisket plate for $14 and it came with slaw, corn bread, sweet potato fries, and salad. All was amazing. I got the chicken bbq salad which was also fantastic and surprisingly fresh and healthful. Cucumbers tasted like they were picked today. Service was very good and friendly!

Both the service and the food were great. Peppers in the fried mac and cheese made the appetizer especially flavorful, and the Brisket Royal was very filling. An excellent stop for travelers on I40 between Flagstaff and Kingman.

We pass through Ash Fork fairly often and sometimes have breakfast across the street (they have a good breakfast there.) We tried this place for lunch today and both my wife and I enjoyed it greatly. My brisket was done nicely and it had a lot of flavor. My wife had the "hangover" and told me it was excellent. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. The food was hot, tasty and more than enough (we took a doggy bag but Fido is going vegetarian tonight, because the take home is just too good to share.) I think they will do well in this location because it is just a hop on/off the freeway and worth a visit. We will be back!

Driving from the Grand Canyon to Vegas with an airstream (tough to park) and we had to stop for a meal. Looked on Yelp and saw this place. Happy we randomly stopped. Pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on a pretzel bun was fantastic. Great brisket and hot wings. Portions were huge and service great.

Hanging with the parents at Lulu Belle's BBQ for my dad's birthday last night. This place ROCKS. Every single time without fail my experience here is an exceptional one -- and I'm lucky this place happens to be right in my town! Although it would be worth a road trip to visit. smile emoticon Very reasonable prices, the food is plentiful and delicious, the menu has exactly what you're looking for, and the people are absolute top notch! The owner, Linda, Is one of the warmest, friendliest people you'll ever meet and the moment she hits you with that smile you feel like you're talking to a longtime friend. The servers and and bartender are also just amazing. Always very friendly, you sometimes want to ask them to pull up a chair and join you. Lol. Seriously, I won't rave about a place unless it absolutely deserves it. And Lulu Belles off of exit 146 on I40 is worth stopping in, checking out the gorgeous, rustic decor and beautiful architecture (the patio is a dream!), having enough food to fill you up with extras to take home, and meeting some people you'll never forget. Except the name of the girl who waited on us. Lol. I'm embarrassed that I don't remember her name but she wore a little sheriff's badge and was exceptional and apparently speaks Japanese or something because she gave my dad a little post-it note that wished him a happy birthday in the symbols they use and taught him how to say it when he asked. She even sang him Happy Birthday with us when she brought out the Kick Ass Bourbon Brownie we ordered. So whatever your name is, you really helped make my dad's night and the rest of us too. :)

Such a let down, we where in here earlier today after a long drive down from the grand canyon, we pulled in to get some fuel and seen this place and thought why not we're all starving ! Really, we should have kept driving, our first round of drinks came out fast, the second round took almost 30 min and the food just over an hour and all of it was lukewarm at best. The ribs were so cold they had to be sent back! I usually don't write reviews but I would be upset if I owned this place and I didn't know what people really thought of it. The waitress gave us 50% off one of our meals (the cold ribs) but really I would rather have paid full price and had a hot meal in a decent time frame. Also the doors were open and there were mosquitos all inside the restaurant biting us as we ate. Shame because some one has obviously thrown a lot of money at this place because it looks very nice. Service -5 Food -5 Atmosphere +3 Mosquito repellent requirement (even inside )+100 because they leave the doors open

We had a great hamburger, tasted like a fresh made patty of good beef, nicely grilled. Good sautéed onion, not soggy nor raw. Nice ciabatta bun. The salad was made of nice really green lettuce, carrots, tomato. And limp old cucumbers. Side of coleslaw was fresh, crisp. Side of sweet potato fries was cold. Loaded baked potato was more of a twice baked (stuffed) potato but tasty...but lukewarm. After reading reviews on 2 sites, we were definitely not going to order the bbq, despite the restaurant name. Saw two people move from booth to booth trying to get comfortable. Overall, the owned/chef need to pay attention to every detail. I think they could make everything really good. PS: the air conditioning was too cold for me and for another lady who went out an get a sweatshirt. But my husband liked it.

I have been twice since my initial review and sadly I am going to have to knock a star off. I can not in good conscience give four stars after 2 overcooked burgers in a row. My second visit I got a "Hangover" cooked medium and it would have been a GREAT burger, but the patty was cooked well done and then some, it was like a brick. On my third and most likely my last visit I ordered the special, a "Green chil(e/i?) cheese burger" cooked medium, to be clear a open face chili burger is typically called a chili size in Arizona to avoid confusion with the ever popular green chile cheese burger ( a standard cheese burger with green chile on it). What I got was not at all what I expected and was not good at all. The patty was again overcooked, not as badly as the last time but still overcooked, The chili was not was not green, it was a typical red chili with kidney beens and tomato, there was a tiny bit of green chile added to the mix, but not enough to come anywhere close to being a green chili. I do not remember the last time I left so much food on my plate or was so disappointed in a meal, at least the long island ice tea was good. Note to the management: Any cook that can not consistently cook meats to the requested temp has no place in a professional kitchen, that is cooking 101.

A one-of-a-kind BBQ restaurant. This place doesn't smoke/cook its BBQ. That's a new one on me. It buys its BBQ already smoked from a distributor. The beef ribs I had were stale and dry. Obviously left overs. Literally inedible. The pork ribs were tough and dried out. The brisket wasn't trimmed at all -- way to fatty. No potato salad on the menu at all. An amazing omission for a BBQ restaurant. The restaurant is laid out oddly. There is no to-go order area. Sorry, but I won't patronize a BBQ restaurant that doesn't barbecue.
